The Nina - Prosciutto Panini


1 Ciabatta slab slice (approx. 5")
3 slices Columbus Prosciutto
1 slice Mozzarella cheese
2 – 3 fresh basil leaves
2 slices of tomato
½ Tbsp olive oil
Additional olive oil and balsamic vinegar, to drizzle



Slice the ciabatta slab in half horizontally. Assemble the sandwich starting with Prosciutto, Mozzarella and thinly sliced tomato. Chop basil (or keep whole) and place over sandwich. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and vinegar. Brush remaining olive oil on outside of both sides of bread. To grill, use either a panini maker or a grill pan.

Panini Maker: Place sandwich in maker for approximately five minutes, grill to desired doneness.
Grill Pan: Place sandwich in grill pan on medium heat until desired doneness.

Tip: Substitute with arugula if you don’t have basil.
